due to unforeseen circumstances, i need to move out of my current room. it will be available the first weekend in may. i share a 2bed/2bath apartment in the vintage at abacoa complex. the unit is the canaries style, which is ~1200 sq ft and has a patio. we are on the 3rd floor so we have slightly higher ceilings too. washer, dryer, and dishwasher are included in the unit. the complex amenities include two pools, a sand volleyball court, a gym, a clubhouse with pool tables and a sauna, and a business center. there are sidewalks all throughout abacoa, so it's great for walking, running, skating, and biking. here is the website for the complex: http://www.tgmassociates.com/properties/vintage-at-abacoa-apartments/

my roommate is a chemistry graduate student. she isn't home much; but when she is, she watches netflix in her room and sleeps. pretty good roommate, right?! the rent with basic cable is $1234 total, so it is $617 per person. the utilities (electric, water, internet) per person are ~$80 in winter and ~$120 in summer.

the apartment complex does allow pets - a maximum of two per unit with a combined weight of <75 lbs. there is a separate deposit for that and a few restrictions on dog breed. (i have seen people with much bigger dogs walking them around the complex, so i don't think the pet policy is strictly enforced!)
